Wrapping up the semester

To start off professor Harwood class we had to create a https://www.pinterest.com/malikraekwon9/.  Pinterest was a very cool source to use because it gave you all the updates on fashion, sports, and etc.  Then we had to create a   https://www.linkedin.com/in/malik-jeter-06556b124?trk=nav_responsive_tab_profile.  LinkedIn helped a lot with finding good jobs, and connecting you with plenty of people.  We did an assignment on https://twitter.com/Malik1b2?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw talking about the amount of characters we have to use in a text box.  http://www.boeing.com/ was a great experience for me, and their presentation was great.  I did a interview with my fellow classmate Christian Manning, and from my blog we learned a lot of him.  I did the green screen project, and for that project I had to pick a background of my choice which was the Eiffel Tower in Paris, take a photo of myself in front of a green screen, and put it into the background as if I'm actually there.  Prezi  https://prezi.com/login/?next=https%3A%2F%2Fprezi.com%2Fdashboard%2F was a fun assignment to do.  For this assignment I had to create a slide show of my top ten movies of all time.  Lastly Kizoa  http://www.kizoa.com/Movie-Video-Slideshow-Maker/d82162275k8546559o2l1/bulldog-challenge-mj tops them all.  Professor Harwood challenged the class to go on a bulldog hunt by taking pictures, and creating a slide show on how many you found.  I can truly say I learned a lot while in this class, but I also had fun.

Dreams Do Come True

My dream is to go to Paris and visit the Eiffel Tower.  To put this picture together I used adobe premiere pro to edit my picture of me pointing so I could make this image look like I'm actually in Paris.  I took my photo on a green screen so I could blend in with the background of the photo I chose of the Eiffel Tower.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eiffel_Tower

Christian Manning

When I say the name Manning who's the first person that comes to your mind?  Peyton or Eli Manning right?  Not in this case.  I'm talking about my boy Christian Manning from Hartsville SC.
Hartsville is the largest city in Darlington County, South Carolina, United States.  The population was 7,764 at the 2010 census.  Mel Pennington is the current mayor.  Hartsville was chosen as an All-America City in 1996 and again in 2016.  Hartsville has also been a National Arbor Day Foundation Tree City since 1986.  Hartsville is the home of Coker College and a branch of Florence–Darlington Technical College.  It is also the site of the South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Mathematics, a public boarding high school.  The city is served by the Hartsville Regional Airport.  Hartsville is home to several major corporations including Sonoco Products Company and Duke Energy Progress.  Agrium Inc. maintained a Rainbow Fertilizer plant in Hartsville until it was destroyed by fire on February 14, 2011.  Agrium has chosen not to rebuild in Hartsville. https://www.hartsvillesc.gov/
Christian is originally from Hartsville but moved to Florence SC in the beginning of his freshman year of high school. http://www.cityofflorence.com/ He chose to come to SC State to keep his promise to his friend who also chose to come to SC State but passed away before that could happen.  Manning is Broadcast Communication major, and he has a passion for music.  He writes songs, sing, rap, and produce music as well.  In his free time from work he enjoys dancing, drawing, and playing basketball.  Before Christian leaves this earth he wants to travel to Africa, Spain, and New York.  Christian is inspired to do great things in his life.  He have his mind set on what he want to do, and I expect him to do great things in his life.  All I can tell you is watch out because this guy is something special.

Boeing

David Jenkins, and Brittni Lundie were guest speakers for the company of Boeing on last week.  They gave great advice on how to get set for our future.  Boeing provides plenty of opportunities for Broadcasting Communication students.  Boeing also has a department for aircrafts.  So Communication majors aren't the only ones in the mix, Engineer majors are included as well.  Boeing is the world's biggest aerospace organization and driving producer of business jetliners and protection, space and security frameworks. As America's greatest assembling exporter, the organization underpins aircrafts and U.S. also, united government clients in more than 150 nations. Boeing items and custom-made administrations incorporate business and military flying machine, satellites, weapons, electronic and guard frameworks, dispatch frameworks, propelled data and correspondence frameworks, and execution based coordination and preparing.  One thing that really caught my attention was when David said "First impressions are everything".  Brittni also said "do not wait till the last minute to apply for an internship, because this is your future". With corporate workplaces in Chicago, Boeing utilizes around 160,000 individuals over the United States and in more than 65 nations. This speaks to a standout amongst the most assorted, skilled and creative workforces anyplace. Our undertaking additionally influences the gifts of several thousands more talented individuals working for Boeing providers around the world.
